How the Integration Works

The integration does four main things:

Getting Started

Sign up with Xero

1. Navigate to the MMR application.
2. Click “Sign up with Xero”.
3. Sign in to Xero using your Xero credentials and follow the on screen prompts.

Single Sign On (SSO) with Xero

1. Navigate to the MMR application.
2. Click “Sign in with Xero”.
3. Sign in to Xero using your Xero credentials and follow the on screen prompts.

Importing Documents from Xero into the MMR Application

1. If you connected to Xero through the “Sign up with Xero” feature, skip to step 2. If you are connecting to Xero from the App for the first time, follow the steps below.
   • Navigate to the MMR Application settings page.
   • Click the tab “3rd Party Integrations”
   • Click the “Connect to Xero” button at the bottom of the page.
   • Read the modal content that appears carefully and then select “Continue”.
   • You will be asked to share you attachments, organisation settings, business transactions and contacts with MMR. Click “Allow access” to continue.
   • You will then be redirected back to the MMR Application.
2. Navigate to the Pending Documents page on the MMR Application
3. Click the box on the right that says “Click to retrieve documents from Xero”
   • You will be able to filter by:
     • Xero Accounts
     • Xero Contacts
     • Xero Contact Groups
     • Date
4. Your documents will now show up under pending documents
5. To create a renewal you simply click the document checkbox and select ‘Create Renewal’
6. Fill in the remainder fields of the renewal form and select ‘Save and Next’.
7. The renewal will then show up in the category you selected.
8. If you want to remove the document instead of creating a renewal you simply click the 3 dots on the right side of the document line item and select ‘delete’.

Creating a MMR Application business from Xero

1. Connect your account to Xero using one of the methods above.
2. Click ‘Add Account’ under the drop down in the top right of the application.
3. Click the ‘Add from Xero’ button.
4. You will be asked to grant permission for the MMR application to view organisation and profile data.
5. The MMR Application will then pre-fill business details within the app using the Xero business name and industry type.

FAQ

How do I disconnect from Xero?

1. Navigate to ‘3rd Party Integrations’ in Xero.
2. Click the ‘Disconnect from Xero’ button.
